Khuan Nang leaves her hometown in Songkhon to work at a garment factory in Vientiane to pay off her family's debts. There she meets Somdy, a kind coworker who falls deeply in love with her. Driven by jealousy, her roommate Sisan conspires with human traffickers to kidnap Khuan Nang attempting to sell her across the Mekong River. She is rescued by the local police, and Sisan is brought to justice. Following the trauma, Khuan Nang pours her heart into her career, eventually promoted as the factory manager and also starts studying accounting.
